Newly Expanded Distribution Agreement With Certainteed

NEW LONDON, N.C.—Fiberon®, LLC, a leading manufacturer of alternative decking, railing and fencing solutions has expanded its distribution agreement with CertainTeed® Corporation to promote a broadened group of Fiberon decking and railing products.

On July 23, 2009, Fiberon announced that CertainTeed would be distributing its cellular PVC decking which is now being promoted under the EverNew® LT brand. Beginning November 1, 2009, CertainTeed will be promoting Fiberon’s Decking that incorporates PermaTech™ surface technology, along with Fiberon’s primary composite decking product and a complimentary PVC composite railing line.

CertainTeed will market Fiberon’s composite decking with PermaTech surfaces under the EverNew PT brand. EverNew PT decking provides optimum fade, stain and mold resistance and is back by a 10 year stain and fade resistance warranty. Now available in new tropics colors that reflect the appearance of premium hardwoods, EverNew PT offers the ultimate in low maintenance performance and enduring beauty.

Marketed under the CertainTeed EverNew 20 brand will be Fiberon’s traditional composite decking which has achieved a strong position as a proven, reliable performer in the marketplace. These three alternative decking products (EverNew LT, EverNew PT and EverNew 20) represent a complete line of decking and different levels of features, performance and warranty coverage. Complimenting these products will be Fiberon’s PVC composite railing line that will be marketed under the Spectrum brand.
