Happiness happened on my home deck it was where I opened my college acceptance letter to Michigan State(go green) , announced our engagement and later that we had gotten a referral for a child from Bethany Adoption agency. Oh the things that happen on a home deck!

Happiness is my children gathered together on my small deck with food and beverages. I can enjoy the fun and conversation and never worry about spills with a new Fiberon deck surface! The old deck surface is faded and peeling.

Happiness WOULD happen on my deck if my husband and I were able to share it with our new baby. He is an extremely active 5 month old, and always wants to be down exploring. Unfortunately our current deck is a rotting, splintering, dangerous mess, and we are unable to take him on it. It would be bliss to make memories on a safe deck with my family.

Happiness will be when we finally have a deck out back to enjoy on hot summer nights when the breeze is blowing. We don’t have air conditioning and the house gets extremely hot in the summer afternoons and evenings.

I also like to sit on our small, cramped concrete porch to meditate and pray. It’s a quiet, spiritual place for me. It would be lovely to have a beautiful deck back there off our bedroom so that we could sleep outside on hot summer nights and cool fall evenings as well.

    Thank you.
