Eco-friendly & toxin free
Fiberon Composite Cladding is made from locally sourced recycled plastic and wood fiber destined for landfills and incinerators. No toxic preservatives are required to maintain its wood-emulating warmth. No rainforest species are used in our products.
-
Priced competitively to wood
Fiberon is priced competitively to wood and costs less than most rainforest wood cladding or engineered cladding products. Fiberon Horizon and Symmetry boards are a board-for-board replacement for wood – the installation process and cost to install is comparable to wood cladding.
-
Low maintenance
Fiberon Cladding features an exclusive PermaTech® cap layer that protects against fading and staining. Never needs sanding, staining or sealing, making it perfect for projects where low maintenance costs are critical. A durable composite core ensures exceptional resistance to rotting, cracking, insects and decay.
Outdoor and indoor moisture are constant threats
Rain, especially wind-driven rain, and high interior moisture can be easily absorbed into building materials. Over time, the moisture can build up and lead to material decay and structural damage.

Drain, deflect and dry
Rainscreens create a continuous air space behind the cladding to promote draining and drying. Even an air space as narrow as 3/8 inches wide will:
- Allow water to drain effectively
- Prevent capillary moisture movement
- Accelerate drying significantly
Cladding and water absorption
Many common cladding materials - brick, stucco, and wood, for example - will absorb water quite readily, rather than deflect it.
Fiberon cladding deflects water. What's more, it resists fading due to sun exposure (wood does not) and is not affected by freeze / thaw cycles (fiber-cement, wood, and sometimes brick and stucco are affected). See more detailed information about rainscreen systems, and how they work.

"We were looking for materials that we did not have to paint or seal, that would withstand extreme climatic conditions, and that would not visually age."
