FAQs
Can I install CitySide Aluminum Railing between existing sleeved, pressure-treated posts in place of the aluminum flush mount posts?
In order to use an existing post rather than the recommended aluminum flush mount post, you must be able to do the following:
1. First, install the aluminum rail brackets to the post you want to use.
2. Next, shift/tilt back the post so that you can insert the railing into the aluminum rail brackets.
3. Finally, secure the posts firmly into place once the rails have been completely assembled.
If you can do all of this with your existing posts, then you are all set. Otherwise, you will not be able to install CitySide Aluminum Railing to these posts.
