What is the FiberPRO Lead Manager?

FiberPRO Lead Manager is an automated email based distribution system exclusive to FiberPRO.

Read this quick start guide for information about how to get started.

Who can get leads from Lead Manager?

We put the names of Distributors, Retailers and Builders into the Lead Manager system.

How are the leads distributed?

Leads enter the automated system in two ways: directly through an online form located here, and through Fiberon when leads are received from print advertising, local events and trade shows.

Can you guarantee a number of leads?

We cannot guarantee a number of leads you will receive, but if you use the system effectively, you may be moved “to-the-front-of-the-line” to receive the first incoming leads.

What happens when a lead is distributed?

When a lead is entered into the system, it automatically determines the nearest target recipient ("Fiberon representative").  Two emails  - one to the Fiberon rep and one to the Lead – are automatically created and delivered.  The lead will receive the name and contact information of the Fiberon representative. The Fiberon representative will receive a direct link to the Lead Manager Web site, where the lead contact information is located.

How do I order marketing materials?

You can order here through our Web site. Marketing materials are exclusive to approved FiberPRO members.

How long does it take for marketing materials to reach me?

The type of order, including size, will determine the delivery of marketing materials.  You will have the option to select different shipping methods.

Can I promote my Fiberon decks through FiberPRO?

Yes, you can post one project or one hundred at the Contractor’s Gallery located here on our Web site. Once your project is posted, visitors who visit the Idea Gallery on the Fiberon web site will be given an opportunity to view and rate your work. Potential customers will be able to sort through projects by highest rated, recent and via geographic location.

What is the Contractor’s Gallery?

It is a fun, interactive way to share and discuss your work as well as market to potential clients.

What is PermaTech™ Innovation?

PermaTech™ Innovation is a groundbreaking technology that chemically bonds strong HDPE (High-density Polyethylene) and wood fiber with the most resilient surface material available.

What are the primary advantages of Horizon decking?

Horizon provides the ultimate in low maintenance performance with unequaled stain and scratch resistance.  Horizon is environmentally friendly, produced with recycled materials and is resistant to termites, mold and decay.  The splinter-free and slip resistant surfaces are backed by a 20-year limited warranty.

What colors of Horizon are available?

Horizon is available in four rich, fade resistant colors: sand, brick, bronze and slate.

What maintenance is involved with Horizon?

With its unequalled stain and scratch resistance, Horizon decking requires extremely low maintenance and is also easy to clean without the need for special cleaners.

Will Fiberon Horizon Decking fade?

The color of the decking will lighten after installation but the base color tone of the product will remain for years.

Can Horizon be painted or stained?

Generally, wood composites do not absorb or retain paint and stain as well as natural wood.  Fiber Composites advises consumers to test application of paint or stain before applying.  The rich choice of colors available in Horizon decking also eliminates the need for paint or stain.

How does heat affect Horizon?

Heat retention is greater in composite decking than that of wood decking. Consumers should test the product in barefoot applications to ensure suitability.

How resistant is Horizon to the elements?

Fiberon Horizon decking resists fading, splinters, termites, and decay, providing a deck surface that will remain beautiful for years to come.  Horizon’s PermaTech Innovation truly makes this product more durable than any on the market.

Will Horizon scratch and/or splinter?

No. Thanks to PermaTech Innovation, Horizon Decking offers the ultimate in  durability, safety and low maintenance.

Why are Horizon boards reversible?

Horizon has identical grains on both sides of the board making both surfaces usable, creating less scrap that might accumulate from installation mistakes.

What lengths of Fiberon Horizon Decking are available?

Horizon Boards come in 12’, 16’ and 20’ lengths (grooved for hidden fasteners or square edge for traditional installation), so contractors can cut fewer boards, creating less scrap per job.

Is railing available with Horizon decking?

Yes. Horizon Decking is complemented by Horizon railing, featuring a smooth low maintenance exterior that protects the railing from harmful sunlight, harsh winters and blazing summers.  For more on Horizon railing, click here.

Can Horizon use hidden fasteners?

Yes. Horizon decking has grooved (GV) boards that accept the Phantom Hidden Deck Fastener System.  Click here to learn more about these fastener.

Why is Horizon faster to install?

Horizon decking accepts Phantom Hidden Deck Fasteners, which require 50 percent fewer fasteners than traditional decks so contractors can build a deck up to 30 percent faster.  Also, the variety of deck board lengths eliminates the need for cutting and trimming, saving time on the worksite.

Does Horizon Composite Decking meet green building requirements?

Yes.  LEED points for recycled content and locally available materials are given where applicable.

What makes Horizon Decking environmentally friendly?

Horizon contains over 50% recycled material and all Fiberon Products are made from locally sourced, recycled materials.  Over 31,000 tons of wood and plastics are also diverted from landfills and incinerators each year.  Products are produced in an energy efficient, virtually waste-free manufacturing process.

Tropics® Decking

What is Tropics Decking?

Tropics Decking is a line of natural-looking composite decking designed to mirror the beauty and richness of exotic tropical wood.

What are the primary advantages of Tropics Decking?

Tropics Decking offers low maintenance with the added benefits of no splitting, warping, cupping or rotting. Tropics Decking has more varied colors injected into the wood so you have a composite deck with the natural variation found in real tropical wood.

Does Fiberon Tropics Decking come in a variety of colors?

Yes.  Tropics decking features a proprietary process that injects more varied colors into the wood that mimics rich rain forest woods.  Available in two species, Tropics Jatoba mimics rain forest woods like ipe, cambara and cumaru while Tropics Mahogany provides a look similar to natural mahogany, redwood or Brazilian cherry.

How does the color perform over time?

No messy, expensive sealants are needed to prevent graying. The initial color (darker than the final color) will lighten but not gray. The final color is very stable. The ‘graining’ colors resist fading better because Tropics Decking is high in pigmentation and has more UV protection than other boards. The Tropics color palette is designed with the end look in mind.

Will Fiberon Tropics Decking fade?

The color of the decking will lighten after installation but the base color tone of the product will remain for years to come.

What maintenance is involved with Tropics Decking?

Tropics Decking requires no staining or painting. Clean your deck twice each year to remove pollen, organic debris, dirt or stains. For dirt, grime and stains, please refer to our Care and Maintenance guidelines.

How resistant is Tropics Decking to the elements?

Tropics Decking is made for outdoor living, resistant to weather extremes, splinters, termites and decay.

Will Tropics Decking splinter and/or scratch?

Tropics Decking is splinter resistant, but not listed as one of the scratch resistant products offered by Fiberon. Scratches will weather and may gradually disappear over time.

How do I repair Tropics Decking if it gets scratched?

Just as wood-decking materials can get marred or gouged, the surface of Tropics can also be scratched. We recommend allowing normal wear marks to fade, as they will blend in with the weathered color.

Why are Tropics Decking boards reversible?

Tropics has identical grains on both sides of the board making both surfaces usable, creating less cuts and waste.

What lengths of Fiberon Tropics Decking are available?

Tropics boards come in 12’, 16’and 20’ lengths for 6” widths and 12’ and 16’ for 4” widths so contractors can cut fewer boards, creating less scrap per job. Accessories include matching 6” fascia.
