FLORIDA PRODUCT APPROVAL NUMBER
Set by the state of Florida for all construction trades. Products with this designation have been approved for use throughout Florida, including in Hurricane Zones. Specifiers should request the Product Approval page as evidence of approval. Once a product has been awarded a Florida product approval number, no state building commission can require additional testing, evaluation, or documentation. TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF INSURANCE PRODUCT EVALUATION

NFPA 268 Standard Test Method for Determining Ignitability of Exterior Wall Assemblies Using a Radiant Heat Energy Source. Used for code and other regulatory purposes, specification and design purposes, and research and development activities. Conducted under controlled laboratory conditions, this is a testing methodology to measure and describe the ignitability characteristics of exterior wall assemblies and their potential of contributing to fire growth.
