MAUMEE, OHIO - Fiberon is introducing new Composite Cladding for Rainscreen Applications, combining the beauty and warmth of wood with the durability of low-maintenance, high-performance composite materials. Fiberon will be previewing the new Composite Cladding for Rainscreen Applications at the AIA Conference on Architecture in Las Vegas, June 6-8.

Fiberon Composite Cladding features rich, nature-inspired embossing for superior wood emulation. A palette of eight multi-chromatic colors, inspired by an array of exotic hardwoods, is available to complement both residential and commercial applications, and mixed material design.

“Our new composite cladding, designed specifically for rainscreen applications, features a patent pending hidden fastening system that
allows for quick and easy installation,” said Peter Kotiadis, vice president of product development at Fiberon. “Fiberon Composite Cladding has high flexural strength, which translates to maximum protection in severe weather conditions.”

The open- and closed-joint profiles can be used to create a variety of looks, from subtle and rustic to bold and modern, and the closed-joint profile utilizes hidden fasteners for a seamless look.

“Fiberon composites offer architects and building owners a low-maintenance wood-emulation solution, providing a lower cost of ownership,” said Rhonda Waggoner, senior brand marketing manager at Fiberon. “Fiberon Composite Cladding was developed in response to the growing popularity of mixed material building designs – it provides a warming design element to balance cold materials like metal and concrete.”

Containing 94 percent pre- and post-consumer recycled content, Fiberon Composite Cladding for Rainscreen Applications is environmentally friendly and free of toxic chemicals and preservatives. It is manufactured using sustainable processes, diverting more than 70,000 tons of wood and plastics from landfills and incinerators annually.

Representatives will be available in booth #2226 at AIA to discuss the applications and benefits Fiberon Composite Cladding.
